Holding cell suicide investigated by OSBI Sheriff’s department not found at fault

The Texas County Sheriff’s Department recently released information on the suicide of Duane Andrew Schaff of Tucson, Arizona while in custody at a holding cell at the county jail facility.
Schaff was arrested in early 2014 on charges of possession with intent to distribute, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony and possession of a controlled dangerous substance without a tax stamp affixed. He was released on bond with a contract obligation from the bondsman to have a GPS monitor.
