Saturday: The Old Timers’ Breakfast begins at 5:30 a.m. with a free breakfast provided by Seaboard Foods at the Texas County Commercial Building. Take your shot at the Pancake eating contest to begin at 7:30 a.m.
Old Timer’s Recognition and
Old Timers’ registration will be held at the Methodist Enrichment Center from 7:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.
Registration for the Pioneer Days 5K run or Walk begins at 7:00 a.m. behind the Texas county Activity Center, the 5K will start at 8:00 a.m. The Mercantile will open for buisness at 10:00 a.m. at the Texas County Activity Center and will stay open until 7:00. One of the most favorite of events, the Pioneer Days Parade will start at 10:30 a.m. After the parade, the Senior Citizens potluck will begin at the Senior Citizens Center. Enjoy a paddle boat or a train ride at Sunset Lake from noon until dark. The Tractor Pull will be held at the South side of the fairgounds beginning at 2:30 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. Mutton Bustin will begin at 6:45 p.m. prior to the 3rd rodeo performance which begins at 7:30 p.m. at the Henry C. Hitch Arena. A western dance will be held at Pickle Creek and hosted by No Man’s Land Senior Citizens beginning at 8:00 p.m. until 2:00 a.m.
Sunday events begin at 10:00 a.m. with Cowboy Church, the Mercantile will be open from 11:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Mutton Bustin will begin at 1:15 p.m. and the last performance of the rodeo will start at 2:00 pm. Boats and trains will run at Sunset Lake from 2:00 p.m. until dark.
The Pride of Texas Carnival will be open daily at the fairgrounds on Saturday and Sunday.
